We had twin lambs!! 💗🐑💗🐑
Welcome to Sugar & Spice 😊😊
It’s another vlog with Gavin! Join Gavin for a tour of the lamb safe space that he built and stay tuned for his best lamb interpretation 😅
Take a minute for so much cuteness. We are so proud of the mama Daisy is being to Hazel! 👏🐑💗
I love ewes!! 💗🐑 Here is what the barn looks like right now as we patiently await our final two ewes to give birth!

The waiting game is real when it comes to lambing season. This is only our second time experiencing it, and I never imagined this would be part of our new life—but here we are! And honestly? It’s been one of the most fulfilling, exciting, and educational experiences for us and our kids.
Tomorrow marks the first official due date, and we’re eagerly awaiting the arrival of new life on the farm. Stay tuned!
I’m in the maternity ward and no one is giving up their lambs yet! Stay tuned! 😆

The Sap is Running! 🍁👏
When we first moved to Nova Scotia, our dear friends taught us how to tap our maple trees.
Now, three winters in, it has become one of our favorite seasonal traditions!
The sound of the drip, drip, drip is perhaps our favourite sound of the season. 🥰
Did you know that maple sap is about 98% water and only 2% sugar when it first flows from the tree?
It takes around 40 liters of sap to produce just one liter of maple syrup!
Have you ever drank sap water fresh from the tree? It is like nature’s own Gatorade!
Next weekend, we’re celebrating this sweet tradition with our annual “A Taste of Maple”—a culinary feast and foraging walk.
👉 We have space for just two more guests!
DM us to grab a spot and experience the magic of maple with us! 🍁✨
