One of our dreams was to create memories for families. A place to come over and over and over again. A place where reunions and game nights and bonfires happen.
Where brothers and sisters come to get reacquainted with each other again. Where phones are put down for just a bit, and bbq's and lobster pots and glasses filled with ice and laughter takes over.
A place for children to have their own memories. A place fulled with excitement and awe of their new surroundings. A place where tablets are forgotten.
Where mom or dad or grandparents or aunts and uncles have time to explore the river with. To collect sea shells with.
A place where they learn to kayak or steer a peddle boat. To collect the sticks to start the family bonfire..
A place where a family comes to heal. To regroup. To laugh. To sit. To read. To explore the island.
I guess what we really wanted was to give you a summer spot that you too can call "home".
