After the family had moved on with their own lives Misty Pines B&B was born....
After a long nursing carreer, proprietor Betty Slack retired. She took some time off to adjust to the new lifestyle, but found that she wasn’t ready to just live and wait for the sun to set. With both children moving on with their own lives and husband Frank also retiring it was time to make a plan and chase a dream.
The house was built in the early 70’s - sporting multiple spacious and comfortable bedrooms and baths. The property was located a short drive from Brockville and the Thousand Islands Parkway. Quiet and peaceful, and surrounded by a natural setting that brings wild turkey and deer to the yard, as well as hawks, owls, song birds and other animals it’s a stop that will offer a weary traveller a great out of town experience in the Thousand Islands and St. Lawrence River region.
Whether its the river, the seasons, or just a long trip that brings you to Ontario and the Brockville area, a stop along the way at Misty Pines Bed and Breakfast will make the journey a restfull and pleasant experience.
