Cost: $50 per person (did we mention it is All-You-Can-Eat?)

Once again this year we were in the fortunate position to sponsor shifts with the Women's Centre of Calgary's holiday toy room, and actually took on an addition shift this year due to the impressive interest from volunteers. Over three shifts we had 28 volunteers and were able to donate over $4,000 worth of toys, gifts, and gift cards!

We couldn't do this without our wonderful volunteers and their supportive companies as well as all the generous donors, both personal and corporate (Agile Underwriting, Alberta Fire & Flood, Axis Insurance, Bender Group, ExecSuite, First Insurance, First Onsite Property Restoration, Graziano Investigations, Imperial Suites, Intact Insurance – Intact Assurance, Lydale, MHK Insurance, Paul Davis Restoration, ServiceMaster Restore of Calgary, and SERVPRO). !! Thank you all!

🎉🎉Donations needed!! 🎉🎉

We are so proud and excited to announce that our Pond is once again sponsoring shifts for the Women's Centre of Calgary Holiday Toy Room. The outpouring of support this year has meant we were able to fill a whole extra shift with volunteers, bringing us to a total of 3 shifts sponsored this year 💙💙.

However, where we still need support from the rest of the Pond is with donations. In addition to the volunteers, sponsoring shifts also requires us to provide a minimum of $1000 in donations per shift, meaning we will need to provide $3000 worth of new, unwrapped toys, women's gifts, cash/cheques, and/or gift cards. Based on our members' generosity in previous years, I know we will have no problem reaching this lofty goal.

What a fabulous night for a wine tasting! Thank you to Market Wines for putting together such a spectacular event for us, and thank you to Shannon McGuey & Ashley Dawn Gallant for organizing our sold out event. Thank you also to everyone who came out to join us. The wine was delicious, the food was mouthwatering, and the fellowship was abundant 💙.

The wind and the wasps were a bit of an impediment, but the view was amazing and overall our first summer BBQ was a success!
Thanks everyone who was able to make it; we are hoping to make this an annual event and look forward to an even bigger turnout next summer. Extra special thanks to MLG Rick Templeman for getting the grill going and being our BBQ Master for the day 💙
