Hi all! My son John is going to do full-time campus Ministry work in the US for the next two years, at a school in Colorado. He still needs donations as the young people finance themselves. It is a fully tax- deductible charity in the US and I can send anyone the link who is able to donate to him, any amount!

I can now officially say that I am a full-time missionary for the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS) and would love to have a meeting to tell you all about what exactly I will be doing with FOCUS. I will be spreading the Gospel to student-athletes at the Auraria Campus in Denver as a member of the Varsity Catholic branch of FOCUS. As a member of the Bosco Project, I will also be doing outreach for those who are seeking freedom from living unchaste lives, struggling with living in sobriety with alcohol and drugs, and those striving to achieve excellence under Christ. I hope to bring a lot of troubled men the freedom that Christ has shown me in recent years through all those areas.

One of the blessings of being a FOCUS missionary is we get to fundraise our own salaries which means we can invite others to join us on our mission. FOCUS strives to involve our mission partners by the incorporation of monthly newsletters, bi-weekly bible studies, prayer requests, and books that allow for a deepening of one's communion with the Catholic Church and Christ. FOCUS is also a 501C3 Non-profit organization which means that mission partners get tax benefits on top of all the other benefits of aiding us on our journey to deepen one's love and relationship with Christ!

Ok, Community Warning: Bert is On the Maraud AGAIN.

How it happened this time:
I took him and Ben the Gigantic Pyrenees/ Sasquatch mixed breed for a walk, and I let Ben run free in the EDSS field to burn off some steam. Well that was like the Matador turning his back on the bull….. before I knew it, Ben had plowed into me from behind and I literally went flying in the air, as the Brits say, “Arse over T**s” and Bert was Off To The Races. He has a leash attached so I’m worried he may get tangled up! He vanished behind the houses on Snyder across from the school.

These dogs make me the laughingstock of Elmira and I’m trying to be all, like, dignified

It’s always a Good Morning when you’re in Woolwich!
