Country Harbour RV Sites is a Harbourfront Seasonal RV Park located along the beautiful Country Harbour in the community of Stormont, Guysborough County. The park has approximately 40 waterview lots with almost half of those on water frontage. The property boasts a wharf and a slipway with a deep harbour so is ideal for boaters, fisher persons and Swimmers. The 80 x 50 lots are larger than averag

e. The sites also offer water, electric and septic services. A Rec Hall with Laundry, potable water and bathroom facilities is on site. A variety of recreational activities will be available at no extra charge (including recreational non motorized boats, horseshoe pits, washer toss, playground and periodic entertainment etc). There are nearby trails available for ATVs. A convenience store is located 2 mins away and a convenience/licensed store is 10 mins away. We are now taking reservations! :)

It should be a fun weekend at country Harbour RV Sites. The residents have planned an amazing “Around the World” Trailer crawl. This will be followed by a performance from
the very talented Hal Bruce.

Some of the ladies from CHRVS put a ball team together and participated in the Smokey Hollow female Ball tournament. It raised funds for Alzheimer’s. Although the ladies did not bring home a trophy they had a blast and are looking forward to next year!! , , fun

The Country Harbour Gun Club is getting set to celebrate their 50th Anniversary on June 22nd. There will be an Open House with free BBQ from 2-5pm, then there is a dance with Hammer Down from 9pm-1am.

To summarize the recent announcement for private campgrounds regarding the fire ban:

1) Absolutely no burning any day between 8am -2pm.

2) The fine was increased and is now $25,000 + HST.

3) Please check burn maps daily for burning regulations after 2pm.

4) Devices like gas stoves and charcoal briquette barbeques can be used anytime, following manufacturer’s instructions.

Burn Restrictions are updated at 2:00 pm daily.
