We at Sherwood are heartbroken to acknowledge the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Brad Marshall.

Brad possessed technical abilities that were legendary, yet it was his lifelong devotion to inspiring others that stood unmatched. He drew people close, teaching with patience, uplifting with care, and encouraging their growth. To Brad, mentoring was about building belief in others, sparking their confidence to dare and succeed. He believed our collective strength came from individual growth, and he set the stage for so many to thrive through his steady, generous guidance.

His absence is deeply felt by all who knew him. Yet Brad’s impact endures in the lives he touched, the careers he inspired, and the community he united.

Sherwood was honoured to provide lighting for Mayor Vrbanovic’s State of the City address at the Kitchener Fire Headquarters! Our new Chauvet color strike fixtures added a vibrant and dynamic touch to the event.

Our incredible team was thrilled to provide full production support for the Heart of the Holidays presented by at the Kitchener Aud.

We have wrapped up another successful run of Convocation ceremonies at the University of Waterloo 🎓

This semester was unique as it also included the Installation ceremony of the University of Waterloo’s newest chancellor, Dr. Jagdeep Singh Bachher. (Photos 3&4)

As always, it was an immense pleasure working in collaboration with the University of Waterloo to create an extraordinary experience for all of their graduates!

Hey Folks, help us in wishing our CEO, Tim Mitchell a happy 60th birthday!

Sherwood’s hardworking culture is directly correlated to Tim’s strong leadership. His dedication, work ethic, resilience, and passion to help others is an inspiration to us each and every day.
He is constantly striving for improvement, and is never satisfied while ‘standing still’.

Now that all of our gear (and people) have had some time to dry out, we can take a step back and reflect on a great weekend. A huge thanks to all of our friends - we had a great time working with everyone at the festival, despite the massive weather hurdles that had to be overcome. As always, we’re so proud to play a role in such an amazing festival with an even better group of people.

Kitchener Blues Festival 2024!

A staple weekend festival for the Sherwood crew has once again come and gone. Thankfully the rain held off (for the most part) and we were able to enjoy a Blues filled weekend! There were so many amazing people involved in this year’s festival, and we were proud to play our part.

We are already looking forward to next year! 🎷🎸

Our installation team was hard at work over the past week enhancing the spectator listening experience at the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex

The project included a JBL loudspeaker system powered by Crown amplification, with compete integration through a Q-SYS system.
