🎉 Now available is Spanish: the Global Air Mobility Systems (GAMS) course, part of the Airport Management Professional Accreditation Program (AMPAP).

The very first session successfully finished this week in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, hosted by Aeropuertos Dominicanos Siglo XXI (Aerodom).

This momentous occasion was inaugurated by Dr. Rafael Echevarne, Director General of Airports Council International - Latin America and Caribbean - ACI LAC, and Mónika Infante, CEO of Aeropuertos Dominicanos Siglo XXI (Aerodom),v w setting the stage for a transformative learning experience.

🤝 The ACI World Smart Security Management Group, made up of 26 members from States, airports, and airlines, aims to revolutionize aviation security with seamless passenger screening, strengthened security, and optimized airport operations. The group met in Brussels (19–20 March 2025) to discuss human factors, future security checkpoints, and innovations in hold baggage screening, while sharing best practices and outlining next steps for the Smart Security 2040 vision.

ACI World contributes to the latest World Economic Forum's latest publication, the Global Aviation Sustainability Outlook 2025, launched today at Aviation Day.

"As enablers of a sustainable aviation ecosystem, airports are focused on reducing energy demand, improving efficiency, and supporting sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) deployment. However, challenges remain. Governments, energy producers, and the finance sector must accelerate SAF adoption through targeted policies and investments. Transparent traceability systems are crucial, and governments must support aviation’s clean energy needs through national policies, that ensure access to green energy, sustainable infrastructure development, and financial mechanisms and assistance to enable these measures. We are committed to collaborating with industry partners in 2025 and beyond to build a sustainable future for aviation." said Justin Erbacci, Director General of ACI World.
