Its beginning to look alot like Stealhead! It's that time of year.....! Ted W. is always the first and last person on the river..every year and this year was no exception..had the river to himself for a few days and worked hard for this beauty. To everyone that follows us on facebook and instagram..we just got notified that they will remove our page, just got this notice:

"Your page is scheduled to be permanently removed due to violating our trademark rights. We made this decision after careful consideration and in compliance with our intellectual property protection policies."

We have no idea what we did wrong, other than traveling to the wrong country. There is no way to talk to anyone at FB to ask anything..so if we disappear we are trying to figure it out.

Are you all ready for another FABULOUS year of fishing on the Pitt River?!! Prime dates are going and for those of you with bigger groups, you need to email soon as they are harder to fit in last minute. Don't forget you have a choice of the beautiful, luxurious Wilderness Lodge for larger groups of 6-8 and the main lodge is perfect for smaller groups. Our guides are excited to get back on the river and the exchange rate is perfect for our American friends! We will be gearing up for mid March opening and look forward to getting on the river with you all.. email soon at [email protected] and Lee will be happy to help you find dates/packages. So nice that they return to us on the upper Pitt River for the celebration with their friends..a great time had by all they say..we are so lucky at the lodge to spend time with so many nice people. We are devastated really to hear of the recent passing of our friend and long time guest, Brian Mose from Vancouver Island. Brian and his son Kale came to see us almost every year and this year they brought Kale's son for the first time. Brian was kind and so knowledgeable and shared so much with all of us here at the lodge. Brian was a commercial fisherman and loved the ocean and river fishing..he was one of our guides' favorite guest because he was just so cool. Words do not adequately express what we feel but our hearts go out to Vickie his wife and his family. Thankfully we just seen him and shared one last fishing trip...he really was one of a kind and will be missed by Lee and Danny and all the guides over the years that had the pleasure of guiding him, most recently Brody.
