2025 RESERVATIONS
Reservations will open for the 2025 camping season at 9:00am on January 14th.
You can reserve by calling the administration office at 250-757-9337 or online at

The Qualicum First Nation Waterfront Campground, Cabins and RV Park is a very popular vacation getaway, centrally located a short 14 minute drive from Qualicum Beach on beautiful Vancouver Island, offering a great camping experience with beach access for all our campers.

With the season slowing down we will be reducing store hours effective September 16th. Hours will be 9:00am to 1:00pm and 4:00pm to 8:00pm. The Gate will also be locked by 8:00pm when the new hours take effect. The campground officially closes on September 30th but will possibly close earlier dependent on weather.

Hello Campers!
Full fire ban will take effect this Friday July 12th at noon.

The BC Wildfire Service employs approximately 1,600 seasonal personnel each year, including firefighters, dispatchers and other seasonal positions.

Good evening campers!
With opening day fast approaching we have a couple new rules that will apply this season.
No access beyond the big qualicum river bridge, this includes swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and motorized boats.
The Sani Dump is no longer included in the camping prices. There is now a $5.00 charge if you wish to use the sani dump.

Just a friendly reminder that our campground is closed to the public for the fall/winter. This includes both sides of the river and access under the bridge. If you are seen down at the campground you will be asked to leave.

Our Campground is now closed for the season. We would like to thank all of our customers for the support over the summer and wish you all a safe and warm winter!

RESERVATIONS FOR 2024

Cabins are open for reservations year round.

REDUCED STORE HOURS FOR SEPTEMBER!!
Please see below the schedule of new hours for the store, the final 2 weeks of September are very dependent on weather and how busy the campground is therefore it is subject to change.

ATTENTION ALL CAMPERS
Normally we have allowed kayaking and paddle boarding up the river passed the bridge. Due to certain people now taking advantage of that and taking motorized boats and fishing up the river we are now NOT allowing anyone passed the bridge unless you are a Qualicum First Nation band member.
It is considered private property and we have band members that live on that section passed the bridge. Please respect their privacy and keep all paddle boarding and kayaking before the bridge. Please remember that there is no fishing allowed on the section of the river that runs through our reserve.

We have updated the shower coin boxes they do not take tokens anymore, they now take loonies.

REMINDER
Please drive dead slow though the campground! It is extremely dusty and there are so many children running around.

With the long weekend coming up we would like to remind our campers of a few things:
Please drive slow through the campground! Not only is it very dusty, there are also children everywhere.
Absolutely no fires, as there is a fire ban. Propane fires are allowed with a heat resistant mat underneath them, unless they are located on the beach.
Please respect the quiet time from 10:00pm to 8:00am. We want everyone to enjoy their camping experience!

FIRE PROHIBITION NOTICE:
This is to notify everyone that as of noon on Thursday June 8th the fire ban will take effect. Please see attached for all information.
Propane firepits will be allowed in our campground but will now require a heat resistant pad underneath them.
