I want to thank our customers for their patronage and support of our family business for the past 41 years (purchased in 1984), Wow! It’s been an amazing run watching how St. Adolphe/Niverville have grown, and kids of patrons are now our patrons lol. I am full of gratitude for the experiences and friendships and proud that we have been a part of this community for so long.

I have seen so many businesses come and go through the years and am proud that we are one of the oldest running businesses in the community. As you may well know, Covid created hardships for a lot of businesses, especially the service industry. The impact was hard to recover from. Reflecting on this, I have decided that it is time for a change, time to retire as owner of the St. Adolphe Motor Inn.

I would like to recognize and express appreciation to my kids who grew up in the business and took on so many responsibilities as young ones to adults to keep things running. For many of our patrons, these were the frontline people you dealt with (me, behind the scenes). I still laugh at one of the few times I came into the bar and someone asked if I was new (I’d been here for 38 years at the time!). A big thank-you as well to our employees, past and present, for your loyalty and hard work to make The Pi that special place!

A big welcome to the new owner. St. Adolphe can look forward to a revitalized St. Adolphe Motor Inn. Make sure to keep an eye on all the wonderful changes planned. Should be exciting!

Our last day open will be Thursday, February 27th. The hotel will be closed on Friday the 28th with the new owner opening for business Saturday March 1st.
