The Sail Inn is the dream of Emmaline and William Hathaway - a pair of professional sailors who met on tallships sailing through Nova Scotia in 2013. Struck by the beauty of Cape Breton on a chance visit in 2007, Emma made the investment and it has been a labor of love ever since. The goal is to bring the century-old building up to speed with modern and eco-friendly amenities for total peace of mind on one of the most beautiful (and yet undiscovered) islands on Earth.
