All the little ghosts and goblins will be unleashed as Paradise by the Bay Campground celebrates HALLOWEEN on SEPTEMBER 28 2024.

There will be a prize for the BEST DECORATED LOT which will be judged after dark.

Be sure to bring treats to hand out so you don't get tricked.

We are excited to see everyone at the Washer toss tomorrow. Pre-registration is required at the office between 10-12 cost is $5. There will be 50/50 and watch for Pipers Pit Stop being some money to support a young entrepreneur:)

Campground Washer Toss this Weekend - We will be hosting a Campground washer toss tournament Saturday, August 31st.
All participants MUST pre-register at the office between 10am and 12 pm on Saturday. The cost is $5/per player paid at time of registration. Games start at 2pm in the main field look for the sun tents

Santa knew it was Christmas at Paradise By the Bay and he arrived with his Elf's and had a gift for each and every kid ....can't wait to see the decorated trailers tonight.. ...Merry Christmas

What a great night for a Drive In...the kids did a FABULOUS job making their cars to drive to the movie ( check out the 1 of a kind car designs) and the Minions even made an appearance. The popcorn, candy and juice made the icing on the cake...thanks to all for coming out.See you at the next drive in.

DRIVE IN MOVIE NIGHT - August 17
WHERE: In the big field at dark
Movie snacks (popcorn, drink & snack) will be handed out as each car enters the "DRIVE IN"

Boxes will be available for children to decorate on Sat morning. Be sure to bring supplies (paint, tape markers ect) to jazz up your car as we all know that the drive in is not about the movie but the car you arrived in......lets make this a family affair ....parents are welcome also and they can decorate their lawn chairs.

SANTA IS COMING TO PARADISE BY THE BAY
WHEN: August 24 2024
Santa will arrive at 11 am and will hand out gifts and treat bags to the children (bring a wrapped gift with child's name on it to tbe office or Lot A by 10 am Aug 24 - gift value not to exceed $25 - Santa will hand out gift and treat bag to each child)

Make it a family event and decorate your camp site - Prize for best decorated campsite - judging will take place after dark)

Update: Due to the pending weather forecast for Sat the rock painting will be postponed until Sunday at 10:30....is it rains again Sunday it will will be postponed to a later date.....sorry but we can't control Mother Nature

Effective May 16, campgrounds in Nova Scotia must follow daily burn restrictions that are in place to help prevent wildfires. These restrictions apply to campfires in provincial parks.

Open fires (like campfires) are not permitted between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. because that is often when the risk of wildfires is greatest. The BurnSafe map remains red during those hours every day.

Each day at 2 p.m., the map is updated to show the daily restrictions:

- red means burning is not permitted that day
- yellow means burning is permitted after 7 p.m.
- green means burning is permitted after 2 p.m.

It is important to check before you light a campfire. Campers can check daily burn restrictions via the BurnSafe map or by calling 1-855-564-2876 (BURN). They can also check with parks staff.

Devices such as gas stoves/barbeques and charcoal briquette barbeques can still be used any time, following manufacturers’ instructions.

Never leave a fire unattended. Always make sure your fire is fully extinguished before you go to bed or leave your campsite. All campfires must be out by 8 am the following day.

NOTE: Campfires and smoking are never allowed in day-use parks.
