The Biivvers live band was a huge success at the dance last night! 💃🪩🕺I mean, I wasn’t there, but it looks like it was fun! 🥳🎉 THANK YOU to the Biivvers for a putting on a fantastic show!🎸🦫 🎤THANK YOU to Debbie Holditch and Candi Beauregard, for running door prizes. 🏃‍♀️🚪🏆THANK YOU to those who cleaned the barn, bought tickets, showed up and partied!! We really appreciate your support as we make changes here at Ofty’s🏕️. We want to create a place where families have a great time and build lasting memories. 📸

Your tickets are still good, though we have moved the event due to weather. We have contacted them and they have agreed to change the date to SUNDAY MAY 19, 5PM in the barn. If this doesn’t work for you please see Jeremy or Lana Larson with your tickets for a refund. We apologize for any confusion this may cause, and thank you for your patience.

WHERES MY POWER?!?! We’ve been literally overwhelmed with questions about power issues. Reports are coming from all over the campground, not just in B bay anymore. We have power issues in the store as well. We are invested in solving these problems because of 1-ridiculously long pizza🍕 cooking times 2-ruined frozen 🥶 food stock, 3-and most important; angry 😡 campers. We don’t want angry campers. We want Happy Campers!!!!

WE ARE DOING OUR BEST! We are working with a private company, and Manitoba hydro to resolve these extremely frustrating issues!!! We are expecting it with you. This is our top priority we will have the bugs🐞 FIXED THIS YEAR. As you all know, we are off to a bumpy start. We ask that for now, issues with power💥 be brought to me, Lana. Talking to Jeremy slows 🐌 the work considerably, and this is the last thing anyone needs. I will keep detailed notes 📝 of any NEW POWER ISSUES and relay them to Jeremy. This way, he and our contractors will be able to diagnose and fix the issues. 👨🏻‍⚕️

We are sorry for any inconvenience this has and will cause. We thank you for your cooperation and patience!

In the meantime it may be prudent to not stock your fridge or freezer here at the campground until electrical problems have been resolved. 😅

😭We regret that our hot water is also down, as our heat on demand water tanks draw too much power. 🛁

We all love our dogs, but what about other dogs?! Please remember to keep dogs tied up as stipulated in our lease. They are really good at a few things, drinking out of toilets, eating things they shouldn’t, 💩 ing everywhere, getting the neibors upset….the are like kids in the pool, shouldn’t be left unattended! 😅 we love all our furry friends, we just want to see them on our terms in their own space, not in terms of their instincts in our yards. Let’s work together to have a great summer! Thanks for being patient with our neighbours and all of our 4 footed friends!!🐶

Water is on as of today...however not officially as we have to have it tested as per Government regulations...please abstain from use and definitely do not drink...see you all soon!

Also, the bathrooms at the store will be unavailable for the weekend because some plumbing issues. The bathrooms should be available for the long weekend but we may not have the showers available. Shewfelts is on it but we're waiting for parts.

🔥🔥‼️BURN PILE‼️🔥🔥please help us keep your fees and prices low!!

We do not have a garbage dump here at the Campground😭😭. I know, sad, right? Life would be so much easier!!! There are items there that should not have been left. As we have no way of knowing who is dropping them off, we will UNFORTUNATELY 🤯😱have to raise camping fees for EVERYONE. non-burnable items left at the burn pile need to be picked up by us, and disposed of locally, which costs the campground disposal fees. Let’s work together to keep our camping experience 🙂🙂affordable for all of our neighbours and guests!!! Thanks!!!

We still have fresh 🥔🥔potatoes donated by FAMILY FOODS and water water💦 💦donated by BLUE MOON WATER! Fire up your air fryers and c’mon down for some fantastic 🥔🥔spuds to fry up!!! We have a few washed ones, and some in the raw!!

When you need a snack, stop in for one, and wash it down with a 💦💦blue moon water!! 100% you pay for these items goes to charity!!
