📢 Accommodations Tax Update: Here’s what you need to know about the new Accommodations tax that affects Southern Manitoba Accommodations starting July 1st, 2025.

In response to the concerns from the accommodations in our area, the municipalities have decided to adopt a gradually phased approach to the implementation of the accommodation tax.

This phased implementation is designed to minimize any potential strain and ensure that everyone can adapt smoothly to the new structure.

· 1% of the Purchase Price per night of Accommodation in the year 2025
· 2% of the Purchase Price per night of Accommodation in the year 2026
· 3% of the Purchase Price per night of Accommodation in the year 2027 and beyond
