Something exciting is always going on at our farm, where we raise heritage breed livestock and grow beautiful produce for our restaurants. We invite guests to tour and learn about our local approach which allows our Executive Chef Kevin McKenna to produce such innovative dishes night after night! We're the ultimate all-inclusive cottage resort and we'd be honoured to host your gathering, whether it be family, coworkers, or friends. Whatever it is you want to celebrate, we're here to make it easy!

Located on the picturesque Stoney Lake just 30 minutes north of Peterborough, we're close enough for an easy drive and far enough to give you the peace and quiet you deserve. Come sit by the fire and warm up with a cup of cocoa, go for a hike, play a board game or peruse our curated DVD library. If you want to party all night, we can do that too!

Your Personal Ontario Resort

No two guests are the same, and Viamede Resort is something different to every guest that stays with us. For some, we’re a cottage that feels like home, where you make friends with the neighbours and grill up masterpieces on your lakeside patio every evening. For others, we’re a boardroom with lots of natural light, fresh air for break-out sessions, and a hearty lunch for the whole team. And for some guests, we’re a secluded retreat out of the city to reconnect with a loved one over an exquisite meal and many glasses of local wine.

We’re pet friendly, family-friendly, nature-friendly... basically, we’re just really friendly. We’re not big on rules, complicated prices or policies, and ultimately we just want you to have a good time, whatever that means to you.

Viamede offers 48 guest rooms, private cottages, outdoor and indoor scheduled and self-guided activities (at no extra cost). We’re also really into food - we serve incredible locally-sourced food in our 3 unique restaurants, and run a thriving farm-to-table program. We’re located on the shores of Stoney Lake in the Kawarthas, 2.5 hours from the GTA and only 30 minutes north of Peterborough.
