2024 --> 2022
The changes may seem small, but they were mighty - all needed to preserve the lakehouse make it safer for guests, and prepare for the next phase of our major renovation. (Tree is down, towers are down, smoke stack straightened, ice blockers and eaves troughs, new stairs for the deck).

One day, the barn shape will go...but for now, I'm grateful for it since it gave us less limitations than a peaked roof would have given us when we raise the house. Planning stages are now underway! Capturing all the exterior photos because it sure won't look recognizable in the next before & after after.

We know some careers and many busy parents need to plan well in advance. We've opened the calendar 2025 to accommodate those who are already looking to next summer to book their vacation time.

We love seeing these sweet surprises our guests spruce up the space with! 🌸 and I can't believe we're already talking 2024, but we want to let those considering next summer that the availability is already limited...😯

The lakehouse is closed for winter soon since we can only rent so many days before insurance maximums are met. We'll be accepting bookings for dates April to October 2024!

Last weekend of winter! It's been an awesome winter - the lake has stayed frozen with many days above zero degrees thanks to the nights dipping below zero. Skidooing has been possible in the region. Couldn't ask for a better season!
